eSIM for Turkey: good to know
Turkey is our customers' most popular destination. The eSIM works on partner networks across the country: Istanbul, Antalya, Alanya, Kemer, Bodrum, Cappadocia. Plans start at $2.99, 5 GB for 30 days is $7.49, a week of unlimited data is $14.99.
- Install the eSIM at home — you're online right after landing, no hunting for airport Wi-Fi.
- For a beach week with messengers and maps, 3–5 GB is usually enough; if you work or watch video, take unlimited.
- Hotel Wi-Fi is often slow in the rooms — mobile data saves the day for taxis, translators and banking apps.
- A local SIM needs your passport, and a phone with a Turkish SIM must be registered (IMEI) for longer use. A travel eSIM doesn't need that.
Will the eSIM work in Antalya, Alanya and Kemer?
Yes. The eSIM connects to partner networks that cover the resort towns and the coast. In the mountains and far from towns the signal can be weaker — just like with local SIMs.
How much data do I need for a week in Turkey?
For messengers, maps and photos on social media — 3–5 GB. For work, video or sharing data with a laptop — 10 GB or unlimited.
Can I use the eSIM as a hotspot?
Yes, tethering works on most plans.
